A great morning spent with the Raven Family – Freddie being the star of the show! It’s always fun and at the same time challenging to photograph youngsters with their parents. Fortunately, the girls had their portraits taken with me earlier in the year – but with the new addition they were back for more photographs with lots of giggles and a few chocolate treats – Freddie, the baby was oblivious to it all. What a cutie!

Aylsham High School – Floating Lanterns
I spent an evening at Aylsham High School with Artist, Jessica Perry and Head of Art, Helen Homewood – plus a team brilliant of volunteers, photographing beautiful handmade lanterns in the swimming pool, literally! These were made by children from Aylsham High School in collaboration with Jessica Perry. Project funded by Broadland District Council.

Lucy Loveheart’s Voewood Painting Exhibition, Holt, Norfolk.
Lucy Loveheart is one of my best friends and we have known each other for around 20 plus years now. We met at Norwich School of Art, many moons ago where we studied for our degrees. Lucy has such a commitment for her art and has become very successful. Mr Bingo in Norwich
A few months back I had the honour of photographing a special event at Flint’s hair salon in Norwich. Mr Bingo a illustrator, animator and graphic designer – was in town for his book signing and an exhibition of his Hate Mail book. La Pedrera and things in Barcelona
My last trip to Barcelona got me thinking about my creative photography workshops that will take place in Barcelona this Summer 2014. I started to look around as a tourist, seeking out places that people flock to sight see. La Pedrera, is quite a futuristic monumental place to discover. The roof terrace is nothing like the rest of the architecture of the building – but has beautiful sculptural shapes. Gaudi was certainly ahead of his time and he loved nature and geometry and used his imagination to bend all the rules of Modernisme. More photos of my travels to come shortly.

I visit Barcelona probably four times a year and see friends. I use to live in the city about ten years ago when my children were very young and spend time on photography projects about people that interested me. Some of this work is rolling, so you can see it on my website. I have a great passion for Barcelona and its vibrancy and many cultures. It is very inspiring and beautiful and has so much going on. My intention is to work on more personal photography projects and collaborate with friends exploring and creating photography classes for the tourist. This is all going to take place this summer 2014. So watch this space.
